Navy COOL
While Navy COOL does not fund full training programs, approved exam vouchers are funded for Active-Duty & Navy Reserve (SELRES) service members. EC-Council believes in providing high quality cybersecurity training to military members who want to take advantage of their military benefits. Because full training courses cannot be funded through Navy COOL, EC-Council offers the training course at a discounted military rate.
Eligibility Requirements
Service Time: Have at least 6 months remaining on your enlistment or military service obligation at the time of funding, and finish requirements at least 60 days before separation (exceptions apply for retirees or specific waivers).
Physical Fitness: Pass or hold a medical waiver for your most recent Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA).
Advancement Exams: Pass your most recent advancement exam.
Conduct: Have no judicial or court-martial punishments in the past 6 months.
Performance: Receive a recommendation for promotion or advancement on your most recent performance evaluation.
The Credential/Certification must meet directly relate to your Navy rating, designator, collateral duty, or completed academic courses.
Cyberspace Workforce (CWF) members must align requests with their assigned work role and proficiency level.

Paying Out of Pocket/Exam Reimbursement
Airmen who are considering paying out of pocket for certifications can inquire about Military discounts/scholarships. The below certifications, excluding CTIA, are eligible for exam reimbursement using GI Bill benefits.
EC-Council University (ECCU)
Sailors looking to pursue a college degree from a nationally accredited institution can inquire about degree/graduate certificate programs from at ECCU.
What We Offer:
- Bachelors of Science in Cybersecurity *This is a 2 year program and requires 60 transfer credits to for enrolment eligibility.
- Masters of Science in Cybersecurity (5 different specializations to choose from):
- Masters of Science in Computer Science
- Masters in Business Administration
- Graduate Certificate Programs (6 different programs)
