Available Funding Options/Additional Programs
ARMY CA/IGNITED
The Army Credentialing Assistance (CA/Army IgnitED) program funds EC-Council’s cybersecurity certifications for Soldiers. No matter your MOS, CA will fund the cybersecurity training programs.
Army CA funding includes coverage for both the training course and the exam voucher. EC-Council will supply an exam retake voucher for free.
Army CA provides $2,000 in funding per soldier annually. Our customized training programs are designed to help you make the most of this benefit!
Using your Army CA benefits, can get you trained and certified in our industry standard certifications like: ethical hacking, digital forensics, incident response, and network security.
Use Army IgnitED to submit funding requests to take advantage of your CA opportunity.
Who Is Eligible:
Active-duty enlisted soldiers (E1-E9), Warrant Officers (W1-W5), and Army Reserve/National Guard receive $2,000 per fiscal year in Army CA benefits.
Requirements:
- Command approval is required to submit Army Ignited funding requests.
- Soldiers can apply for EC-Council certifications regardless of their MOS.
- The below certifications can be found on the Army COOL website.

- Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)
- Certified Network Defender (CND)
- Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
- Certified Incident Handler (ECIH)
GI Bill®
GI Bill® benefits can help cover the costs of training programs, career pathways, and certifications. EC-Council is approved for a variety of chapters, including 30, 31, 32, 33, 35 depending on your EC-Council program of interest.
- The GI Bill can be used to cover expenses such as tuition & books for any of EC-Council University’s degrees.
- With EC-Council’s military scholarship your GI Bill® will cover exam voucher costs for our CCISO, CEH, CHFI, CND, & ECIH certifications.
- The GI Bill® offers training participants a monthly BAH stipend calculated based on the GI Bill® pay rate.
- If pursuing a degree or graduate certificate program from EC-Council University, we accept a wide range of GI Bill® benefits including Ch. 30-35.

Soldiers looking to pursue a college degree from a nationally accredited institution can inquire about Bachelors & Masters degree options or any of our graduate certificate programs from at ECCU.
What We Offer:
- Bachelors of Science in Cybersecurity *This is a 2-year program and requires 60 transfer credits to for enrolment eligibility.
